The polyethylene–polypropylene (polyester) root-resistant waterproofing membrane is engineered with a modified synthetic polymer resin core layer that serves as both the primary waterproofing barrier and root-blocking layer. It is reinforced with high-strength continuous long-fiber fabric and incorporates specialized chemical root inhibitors.
Manufactured through a one-step composite process, the membrane is designed specifically for superior resistance to root penetration and long-term durability. When used in combination with the specially formulated root-resistant polymer adhesive, it forms a robust, integrated waterproofing system with enhanced protection against root damage.

When combined with polymer-based cementitious adhesive, the system forms a composite root-resistant waterproofing layer.
The membrane is produced using a one-time forming process with a core thickness greater than 0.6 mm. Its basic performance complies with GB/T 18173.1-2012 standards for polymer waterproofing materials, while its application performance meets GB/T 35468-2017 requirements for root-resistant waterproofing systems used in green roof applications.
Suitable for green roofs, rooftop gardens, underground garage roof slabs, and any structural surfaces requiring landscaping or vegetation coverage.
Due to its excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts, it is particularly suitable for coastal environments and projects requiring enhanced corrosion and root resistance.
