Elastomeric (SBS) Modified Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane

Product Overview

The SBS Modified Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane is a high-performance waterproofing solution manufactured using premium SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) elastomer-modified bitumen. 


Reinforced with high-quality polyester mat, fiberglass mat, or fiberglass-reinforced polyester mat, the membrane is finished with various surface coatings such as PE film, fine sand, mineral granules, or aluminum foil to meet diverse project requirements.

Designed for superior flexibility, durability, and weather resistance, SBS membranes provide long-lasting waterproof protection for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Installation Highlights

  

  • Longitudinal overlap width: Minimum 80 mm
  • End overlap width: Minimum 100 mm
  • Adjacent membrane joints should be staggered by at least 150 mm
  • All seams, overlaps, and  terminations must be properly sealed to ensure complete waterproof integrity
  • Suitable for both hot-melt and cold adhesive installation methods
